How do you play Click The Countries?

Each round names a country, US state, Canadian province, Australian state, or UK nation (often with its flag) and you click its outline on a blank map. A correct click turns the shape green and adds a point; a miss turns it red and the map pans over to show you where it actually was before the next round starts.

Which regions and countries can I play?

Toggle World Countries, US States, Canadian Provinces, Australian States, and UK Countries on or off from the header, and combine as many as you like in one round. The Config Continents button narrows World Countries down further to specific continents, such as only Europe or only Africa.

How does scoring and the timer work?

There's no countdown. The timer counts up from 00:00 while you work through every region in your selected set, and your score is simply the number of correct clicks out of the total. Faster completions with fewer misses produce a better time, which is saved as your personal best for that combination of settings.

Can I skip a region I don't know?

Yes, if Enable Skip is checked before you start. Skipping sends that region to the back of the queue instead of marking it wrong, so you get another chance at it later in the same round. Leave Skip off if you want every region attempted in order.

Is Click The Countries free to play, and does it work on mobile?

Yes, it's completely free with no account or download required. The map, toggles, and results screen are all touch-friendly and resize for phones and tablets, so the same game works in a mobile browser as on desktop.

Are my results and best scores saved?

Your top attempts are saved locally in your browser for each combination of regions, continents, and skip setting you play, so you can track your best score and time over multiple tries. Because this uses your browser's local storage rather than an account, scores won't carry over to a different browser or device, and clearing your browsing data will reset them. Use the Share button in Statistics to post your best result elsewhere.
